My work is made individually by me using techniques that include fabric manipulation and screen-printing to produce very sculptural, 3D pieces. I use a variety of silks, silk-metallics, velvets and translucent manmade fabrics.
I have drawn inspiration from natural and geometric forms, Japanese shibori and paper-folding. I like to put my own interpretations and innovations in create a new design for each exhibition so that my work stays fresh.
